Loving your life.
Sometimes I hate my life now.
Yet sometimes I love it.
I hate studying dry boring subjects.
I love my friends.
Sometimes I do ponder about the future. How will it be like? Poor? Fun? Terrible? Cool? Rich? Haha...I may never know.
Remeber the phrase ? Live for today. Live for the moment!
I love my family and my friends. I am actually starting to find myself quite lucky. I may not be rich,clever or pretty but I have people who love and care about me! Isn't that enough?
I hate being negative sometimes and now I am putting my heart into changing
that. I want to have a positive outlook to life! For isn't that the deciding factor to how the rest of your life will be like?

Short entry .
My mum came back from America on Friday and bought me a nice cookie Jar , many many chocolates, keychains and lifesavers. (show u e pics some other time)
I saw **** waiting for ****** outside TK today!!Haha...and to think **** and ****** also got matchmade from OBS. I think ***** also likes *****. LOL!!! Ok. the names wont be disclosed. But anyway...=) OBS is so..hhaahaha...matchmaking???? LOL.
I STUDIED SO LITTLE!! AHH. I saw amirul's blog...he studied like HELL!! AHHH I AM DEAD. T.T

OBS-in process..
OBS seriously rocked! What is going to follow is a super long entry about the amazing obs I went to.
I went there quite nervous and had mixed feelings about the whole thing. How the hell was it going to be? Fun? Tiring? Scary? Happy? I didn't know. OBS was everything. It was fun,tiring,scary and happy all squashed into 5 full days of non-stop activities.
DAY 1
I was separated from my closest friends upon reaching there and was placed into a group called " Da Gama". Of course I was not the only person from TKSS but Syjia, Qing Shan and Wei Jie were also in the same group as me. However, they 3 were in the same class last year and I hardly knew any of them except for Syjia, but I was not so close to her either, but I felt lucky that I had people to talk to.
"Eh. why our group no cute guy one!" I remember Qing Shan exclaiming when she looked at the long row of people in our watch. The first day! How could I forgot! When everyone was so quiet and all of us were strangers! Ah!
I did not like my watch at first. Everyone seemed so quiet! They were all so quiet and hardly anyone wanted to talk much. Everyone had an expression close to this : -_-" when we were in a circle getting to know each other.
The members in our group are : ME!, Syjia,Qing Shan, Wei Jie , Aslam, Nichole,corine, Aishah,Wan Ying,Nabilah,Wallace,Javier, Ren Wei,Fadhil,Kamal. However slowly I actually learned to like my watch and we became good friends. Our instructor was Connel . He was really funny and was seriously cute.
The first day we did a Trust Jump(not sure what it is called) where we had to jump on a groundsheet held by all the group members and hit the bell hung on a frame thingy. I failed. +) and no girls managed to do it but many guys succeeded.
Then we procceeded to do belaying. It was fun but I did not really get it at first.
For dinner we cooked ourself. We had disgusting rice that was mushy and tasted like it had been overcooked although it was white in colour. I lost appetite after eating it half way.
At night after a nice bath Syjia, Weijie ,Qing Shan,Aslam and I played truth or dare. What was discovered in the game are *censored*. Anyway it was really fun and later Ren Wei and Nabilah joined in. Ren Wei was going to do his dare but the fire alarm rang ( for a fire drill) then we had to assemble.
It was quite a fun day for the first! OBS rocks! =)
Day 2
I rember thinking to myself the day before I left. Why did I want to go huh??? Why??? My studies how??
Haha...luckily I went or I would never had had such a memorable expirence.
On the second day, Connel could not come as he had to take care of his wife that was pregnant! So we got another instructot Evonne (or Yvonne (not sure)) . She was super nice too. So we took our backpacks which were 60L hiking bags they provided for us. It was bigger than my bag which I brought. O.O. Of course even the water bottles we used were 2 litre waterbottles that they provided.
First we hiked to our new campsite for the day to the new OBS campus. It was a short 1km distance but it seemed long for some. Nabilah was unable to walk halfway as she had Asthma and could not walk too much. So Javier had to help . Javier was super strong! I mean we pratically stuffed his bag with all our canned food rations for the next few days and THINK! How heavy is his bag already!!!!!
Anyway, we then went to Kayak. Wooh. I patnered Qing Shan for Kayaking. It was great fun capsizing and doing the rescue. GosH! Everythin rocked.
However many were unlucky. There were barnacles growing on the sides of the slope down to the sea and many got cut by them. I did too. I was lucky though. Syjia's cut was the most serious of all. Ouch.
The Kayaking rocked but the lunch didn't really. We ate our rations. Biscuits and buns. Oreos ,biscuits and buns. Aslam ate non-stop. Eat AND Eat AND Eat. Yeah. He ate and ate and ate. Ren Wei acted super funnily as usual. LOL. Ren Wei is so funny!!!! =D We pitched our tents too.We then bathed.
Then we went to do a high element thingy. You know those climbing stuff? Yeah. It was cool! I never though I'd climb but I did!For the first timE! I never dared to !!!!!!!! =D I dropped down halfway though and I was shaking like hell and Ren Wei made fun of me about how I was shaking like mad. LOL. Funny !!! XD
And packed our things before meeting for a DELICIOUS DINNER NOT COOKED BY US! (NOTE: most food cooked by us is....UH. not very edible) We were all gobbling our food and Wei Jie and Aslam took a mountain of rice. WOW. A big pile of rice. Unfortuately we could only have one serving of everything else! =( We gobbled the food down happily. Everything tasted good. It was heaven!
Then we had an activity at nigh We had to suspend 17 long metal nails in the air with only touching the top part of one nail that was poked into an wooden container. Smart Aslam figured it out. And we did it. =) ( NO. I'm not telling you how we did it).
After supper we met Evonne for debrief and we talked about out day and then the difference between heaven and hell. It was a great day. =)
I shall continue from where I left off. Argh. I feel so sad. It is as if..... I don't KNOW! I miss my watch so much!
Anyway, here is the story , the difference between heaven and hell.
A man died and when he woke up he saw an angel. The angel told him,"Sir, you have died and we will give you an answer to any question that you ask." The man had been curious about one thing his entire life and without any hesitation he asked,"May I know what is the difference between heaven and hell?". Then the angel replied,"come, follow me and I will show you the answer." The angel led the man to a huge door with a golden handle and asked the man to open the door. The man was afraid but the angel assured him that nothing would happen. The man opened the door and saw the most delicious food in the world on a long table. "Now, why would this be hell?" the man asked. Suddenly a bell rang and a bunch of thin and grouchy people came out. Picked up spoons and forks that were nearly a metre long and tried to eat with it. They could not. The spoons and forks were too long. And all the food ended up wasted. Everyone in the room whined and grouched.The bell ran again and all the people went back in, angrier and hungrier.
The angel then led him to a door that looked exactly the same as the one of hell. The man opened the door and saw the exact same food and table he saw in hell. He was shocked. However when the bell rang, fat and jolly people marched out to eat. They used the same fork and spoon like the ones used in hell but all of them were able to eat, all fed one another. When the bell rang again, all marched back , well fed and happy. No food was wasted.
The angel then asked the man, what do you think is the difference between heaven and hell?
Answer: The People.
Day 3
The third day was tiring. However it was FUN. It was marvellous in fact. =)
We treked throughthe pulau ubin forest the entire day and only managed to make it because of everyone. It was a hard and difficult day but we all pulled through.
8 checkpoints we had. Other groups had 4 to 5. We finished all 8 check points. We did more than most groupS!!
In fact we made it clear that it was the journey that mattered and not the end. We tried. Nabilah held on! =) She did it! Thanks Wei Jie and Aslam. Without both of you the super map readers the whole group would have been lost! Thanks Lynn and Corine! Without your pacing we would not have reached the campsite till 8pm!
We were given a map of pulau ubin and the coordinates of the place where the checkpoints were, and the checkpoint (in the form of a laminated piece of paper with the word OBS and one number) would be stuck to a tree. In order to get the the campsite we had to get all quotes and numbers for the campsite.
I definitely rember all of us getting lost and worried. I also remeber us screaming at the top of our lungs when we reached the peak of a hill. I rember the scene. I rember how happy we were! Haha...
The people that saw us either stared at us weirdly or smiled and said hi. .. It was so fun. ....it was so cool.
We reached the campsite tired. There was no place for us to bath! We pitched our tents and the girls mostly wiped themselves with wet tissues. Some pitched tents whilst some cooked. We ate sardine-vegetable soup-curry chicken mee goreng.
It was fun! Then after that water arrived and Ren Wei filled our water bottles. It was damn heavy! And he carried it like WOW. I mean like 20L ! WOW. Whereas when Aslam carried it ah. LOL. XD. the water spilled. Then later Wei Jie helped pour too.
Connel then came over to ask for 2 sea ex leaders. Ren Wei was volunteered. and no one else wanted to be the other sea ex leader! So I volunteered and found Celine and Jia Min were also Sea Ex leaders. So 3 of us ended up as assistant sea ex leaders.
We were briefed by the instructor about the sea expedition the next day and how serious it was. I tried to rmb all the things that he said. Wow. Was it difficult. XD.
At night, someone was SNORING HELL loudly. It came from Royce's tent! I had a terrible sleep and ended up with eye bags the next day.
Day 4
WHOOOOO! Day 4 was kayaking day!
It was damn fun too. All of us woke up early in the morning to get ready. We were suppoused to do night watch the previous night but we did not as Jia Min's grp forgot to wake up my group. So there was a chain reaction and in the end no one did night watch.
I had a bad sleep the previous night as someone from Royce's tent snored hell loudly and there was this rock digging into my back. Ouch!. *swears* Ok, anyway we played some scissors paper stone game after we all put our poncho bags, food bags and packpacks into the instructor's speedboat.
The scissors paper stone game was weird unlike any version of scissors paper stone game I have played so it was like that, we were suppoused to play with anyone person next to us, face each other then jump right right right left left left foward backward forward forward foward. Then scissors paper stonE!
The loser would stand and the back of the person. Then follow the person and the person plays with someone else. The ulitimate winner is the one that does not need to stang behind anyone.
The other game we played was Police, Pimp and Prostitute. Like scissors paper stone lah. But PPP version.Not SPS verson. Police win Pimp.Pimp win Prostitiute.Prostitute win Police.
Soon after we set off kayaking. I partnered Javier as I knew how lousy my kayking was . Haha. Kayaking was quite fun but really scary and times and rather tiring. I still remeber how Ren Wei smeared his entire face with sunblock and DID NOT SPREAD IT determined to prevent himself from getting sunburnt. He wrapped his head like a ninja! LOL. He didn't get sunburnt but he ended up looking like a clown.
Javier kayaked really fast at times and kept banging into people. It was scary ! Like suddenly banG! Then the whole kayak will rock like mad.
It was disgusting seeing dead fish floating around in the ocean . Maybe they died because they ate the shit of the people who shitted in the sea???? Haha...funny. Peeing in the ocean was disgusting but I still did. I mean, I did not want to risk all my unine going back to my kindneys and needing to see a doctor because I did not want to pee in the seA? Not a smart move, Really. At least I did not pee 6 times like Aslam. XD According to the one of the Sea EX leaders Aslam broke a record for peeing in the sea the most number of times.
It was scary when a storm came. At first the sky was gloomy. Then it started drizzling. Then there came stronger backwash causing the kayak to go the wrong direction. The drizzling did not stop and thunder and lighting appeared! It was scary but we were lucky to overcome it. We beached up in the new OBS campsite for a while to wait for the rain to subside and drank some hot milo before proceeding back to our original campsite to pitch our tents and eat dinner.
Weijie, Aslam and Wallace took the wrong tent and pitched ours so we had to pitch theirs. Their tent was werid so we didnt know how to pitch. In the end we left it unpitched and skipped off to bath as I and Syjia developed rashes! Quite unpleseant, really.
It felt super good after the bath and we spent the rest of the time before debrief packing the store evacuting the ants that invaded the store packing our bags and playing TRUTH or DARE which was really fun as usual. Haha. It was nice seeing Ren Wei do his dare. He asked Lynette. " Can.....I......I...haaaa..vveee, ..yooourrrr...number..????" to which Lynette replied "Sure ! My no. is *********".
We had a nice debrief playing a game " This is a solem occasion" It was funny. We had to say, " This is a solem ocassion" to the person on our right withoout laughing. Both were suppoused to say "MMM,Indeed it is".
Ren Wei volunteered to do first. They did like 10 TIMES? but cannot make it. Ren Wei keep saying Kamal was so cute that everytime he looked at Kamal he wanted to laugh. So we tried starting with other people and believe it or not? We completed it. Then we played a Chitt game ( which I am lazy to explain). Anyway, it was one of the best nights in OBS, sitting in a circle with our instructor, at the jetty, playing games , talking and laughing.
Don't worry lah. In the end the boys got tent to sleep =) Everyone helped to pitch but anyhow pitch.
The tent didn't collapse. =)
Day 5
It was definitely one of the most emotional day the whole time in OBS. Everyone was not in the mood to pack up at all and we lost many things too. We all did not feel like leaving one another. It was not a very nice atmosphere at all.
We lost jacknives, and some other things. It toataled uptp $16.20 so everyone paid a mere $1.
It was sad when everyone sat in a circle to do their reflections.
Some cried.
All knew they would miss one another.
5 days. No less than that 4 days.
We spent the whole time together.
From strangers we became friends.
From friends we became good friends.
Parting was not easy but we had to go back to reality.
OBS. I will miss it! Da Gama watch. There won't be anything like US! =)

Airport Pop-eyes.
I feel like blogging a long and nice post for once but I am freaking exhausted after a day of studying with Wan Swen, Rache and Chowager at Popeye's.
Actually it was only me and Wan Swen. Then I told Rache I was studying at Popeye's at T1 and she was like " Sounds so shiok!" and she came over to study with us. The Wan Swen messaged Grace and asked her if she wanted to come along.
I only managed to finish studying my chem notebook and a bit of geog which was not alot. We ended up talking at times and we told GHOST STORIES! FUN!! =P
Anyway Chowager left to Terminal 2 halfway to see her dear Eric arriving in Singapore today. However apparently Eric changed his flight so...she did not get to see him in the end. Awwww.
I found myself surrounded by 2 sleepy people, Wan Swen and Rache. Wan Swen study halfway and suddenly decided to sleep. Rache kept asking for coffee. I felt a bit sleepy but not as sleepy as them. I only kept yawning ( as I always do!!! :))
Anyway I think studying outside today aint that good for me. I felt SOOO restless studying there the whole TIME!
Anyway Wan Swen and I had a debate over weather Popeye was pronounced as POP-I or PA-PYE . =) I was correct in the end as we went to see the cartoons showing there and Olive pronounced it as..PA-PYE!!! =)

Life Changes.
I just came back from Chinatown. I didn't want to go out this morning but my granparents pratically dragged me out of the house! I think they were afraid that I would feel super lonely since my sister left for america last night.
My mum went with my sister too, so now my side of the house only has me and my dad left. Lonely huh?
Last night My dad,mum,cousin,sis's friends and I all went to the airport to see my sister off and we had Popeye's for dinner. Yummy. I was obviously sad that my sister was leaving but I did not cry! I seldom cry in front of a person who is leaving already, if I do cry I go home and cry to myself. XD
I really wonder how america will be like. Hmmm...not so dangerous I HOPE.
My sister is rooming with some girl called Sadie Lynn from Arizona if I am not mistaken. Oooo. She seems pretty smart and looks like quite an interesting person. Just how much will my sister change?? Hmm.
Anyway, I got to hop off soon. Ok, at least hop off this blog. I have to do projects, pack OBS things and then STUDY(*screams*). I HATE STUDYING.
